New churro, ice cream spot now open
The churro craze taking over Columbus doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
A new churro-dedicated eatery, Churro Stop, is now open to the public.
According to a social media post from the concept, Churro Stop, which is located at 1049 Bethel Rd., is currently in a soft opening phase and will hold its grand opening on Aug. 30.

Churro Stop plans to serve classic churros, “dot” churros (think donut hole-style churros) and multiple filled varieties. The new Bethel Road spot will also be serving ice cream, coffee, matcha and more.
It will be open from 12-10 p.m. daily.
The new churro spot is Columbus’ second storefront dedicated to the sweet Spanish treats. OH Churros, which is located at 2110 W. Henderson Rd., opened last June. Both eateries are on the city’s Northwest Side and are located just two miles apart.
