New diner opening in former diner that closed last year

Sav McKee

A retro-themed diner closed its doors last year due to “new employee challenges and increasing costs,” but starting this weekend, you’ll be able to grab eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns in the exact same spot again.

Eclectic Diner was located at 755 US 23 North in Delaware, but after they closed, they listed the diner for lease. New owners purchased the spot, and now, it’s Delaware Diner.

The new owners are planning on opening Delaware Diner on June 20th, serving breakfast, lunch, and even Mexican Dinner specials. Their hours will be Monday through Saturday, 7AM-8PM, and Sundays from 7AM-3PM.

Choose from breakfast classics like eggs benedict and steak & eggs, or lunch favorites like B.L.Ts and patty melts, and then after 2PM, a full Mexican menu with quesadillas, tacos, and guacamole and chips is available! But if you’re craving brunch and lunch options for dinner, those are available all day as well.

“This is more than just breakfast… it’s family, flavor, and fun!” their Facebook post says.
