New eatery and entertainment venue with axe-throwing, pickle ball, arcade games and more opening this month

Central Ohio’s first Smash Park location has an official date.

According to a social media post from the brand, it will be opening its Westerville storefront on Aug. 26. It’s located at 495 Polaris Pkwy.

The venue, which will serve as the first Smash Park location in Ohio, will offer pickle ball (on a full court), axe-throwing, cornhole, karaoke, shuffleboard, bowling and more all under one roof. You can find a full list of activities here.

In addition to fun, Smash Park will also serve craft cocktails (including its signature Sociabowls), wine and beer at its in-house bar, plus food, with options like a Frito Pie, Caribbean Shrimp Bowl and its PIckleballs, hand-breaded bacon bit balls served with ranch dressing.

Smash Park, which first opened in Des Moines, Iowa in 2018, also has locations in La Vista, Nebraska and Roseville, Minnesota.
