A brand new pizza concept has landed in Central Ohio.

The Pizza Rover, a new Columbus food trailer dedicated to serving fresh, wood-fired pies, officially opened its doors in June.

According to Chiane Boom, who owns the eatery alongside Greg Reincheld, The Pizza Rover operates out of a custom-built food trailer that’s 22 feet long, complete with an attached wood-fired oven.

The concept, which officially opened in June, is preparing a menu update soon, but you can check out its original slate of offerings here.

The truck’s full scheduled is regularly updated on Foodtruckfinder. This evening, they’ll be serving pizza for National Night Out in Harrison West.

According to Boom, she and Reincheld are hoping to eventually turn the Pizza Rover into a brick and mortar restaurant, although for the near future, at least, they’re focusing on the truck.

“Long term, we do want to grow, but that’s probably a couple years out. Right now, we’re really excited to get out in Columbus and see where it takes us,” Boom said.
