New pizzeria taking over former OTE home of Mikey’s, Yellow Brick

A new pizza concept is taking over a familiar spot for many Columbus foodies.
The former Olde Towne East home of Yellow Brick Pizza and Mikey’s Late Night Slice will soon see another pizza concept take its place.
Osteria Pizzeria will open soon, according to signage on the building. The new concept will be located at 892 Oak Street in Olde Towne East. The space served as the original home of Yellow Brick Pizza, and then operated as a Mikey’s Late Night Slice location, which closed this summer.

While many Columbus concepts have opened and closed at the corner of Oak Street and 18th Street, Osteria appears to be in good hands, as it’s owned by the proprietors of The Walrus, Pecan Penny’s, Olde Towne Tavern (which is across the street from Osteria Pizzeria) and more.
It’s currently unclear what kind of pizza the new concept will serve, or when exactly it plans to open.
