New sandwich shop opening soon inside popular local dive bar

The only thing that makes a dive bar even better is when there’s food involved, and fortunately, a new pub + sandwich partnership is blossoming here in Columbus.

Fat Arnie’s Sandwich Shop, specializing in loaded sandwiches, is opening in October inside Rafters Beer Pub, located at 4404 Indianola Ave.

Their day 1 menu will eventually evolve, but right away, they’ll offer pepperoni sticks, pickled eggs, porkbelly bites, and 4 different sandwiches, including a Melted Raclette Sandwich, The “Apollonia” Spicy Sicilian, El Sanguich “Kidi Cubano,” and the Arnie Burger. Coming soon after they’ve gotten their feet on the ground for a little bit, they’ll serve chicken & beef empanadas, hornado (roasted pork shoulder), plus a special late night menu.
