New study finds the cheapest grocery stores in Ohio, and all three are here in Columbus
We’re all trying to save a buck here and there, and with grocery costs on the rise, it could be time to consider switching up your go-to store.
A new study by NetCredit analyzed prices at over 2,000 grocery stores across the country, and they found the cheapest grocery stores in every state, and Ohio’s results could surprise you.

The study found that in Ohio, the three supermarkets with the lowest prices are: Grocery Outlet, Save A Lot, and Target. A Grocery Outlet, the nation’s largest discount stores, just opened at 749 Bethel Rd., and there are multiple Save A Lots and Targets dispersed throughout Central Ohio.
The study also found that the most expensive grocery stores in Ohio happened to be Gordon Food Service and Fresh Thyme.
