North Side spot serving paninis and more opening in North Market

The North Market Bridge Park is receiving reinforcements.

The long-standing local eatery Panini Opa announced this morning that it plans to open a second location inside North Market Bridge Park, which is located at 6750 Longshore St.

A mediterranean eatery offering everything from tzatziki, calamari and gyros to paninis and burgers, Panini Opa plans to open its new location shortly before Thanksgiving, although an exact date wasn’t announced.

“We are thrilled for Panini Opa to be a part of the North Market in Bridge Park. Our team is excited to join this vibrant community of local vendors and share our passion for American/Mediterranean cuisine,” owners Klestor Qose and Daniel Trifoni said in a press release.

Panini Opa’s original eatery, which will remain open, is located at 4799 Sawmill Rd.
