Even if Skyline Chili isn’t your thing, if you’re from Ohio, you’re going to defend it. And it looks like USA Today agrees, with the USA Today 10Best Awards naming Skyline Chili as the ‘#1 regional fast food restaurant in the U.S.’ for the second year in a row, after the Ohio chain secured the #1 ranking in 2024.

Known for cinnamon in their chili and its Cincinnati roots, Skyline first started over 75 years ago with recipes inspired by its Greek founder’s heritage. You can now find Skyline locations throughout Ohio — including 10 in Columbus — and in other states, like Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida. There are over 130 locations total.

This year, Skyline beat out other extremely popular regional fast food favorites (yet again), like the West Coast staple In-N-Out Burger. If you haven’t tried Skyline Chili, now is your chance to grab some chili spaghetti, a Chili Deluxe burrito, multiple vegetarian options, or even a 5-Way (if you know, you know).
