Ohio eatery known for peanut butter, banana and cheese pizza issues public invite to reviewer Dave Portnoy

Columbus pizzerias like Emilio’s and Sexton’s have reaped the rewards of a visit from Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Pizza Reviews,” and now another popular Ohio pizza eatery is looking for some time in the spotlight.

Roscoe’s Pizza, located about an hour southwest of Columbus in Waynesville, recently posted to their social media accounts, formally inviting Portnoy to visit.

“Roscoe’s Pizza would like to do a celebrity invite for David Portnoy – El Presidente,” a post made by the eatery last month reads. “We are not sure if you’re in Dayton for the First 4 again this year, but if you are please consider coming to Roscoe’s Pizza!”

While Portnoy typically only scores classic cheese pizza, Roscoe’s, on the other hand, is well-known for their adventurous takes on pies. The eatery went viral multiple times for their Elvis-inspired pizza, which combines peanut butter, honey, pizza cheese and bananas, a peanut butter and chili pizza, many more.
