One of Budd Dairy Food Hall’s original chef partners is closing

An original vendor at Budd Dairy Food Hall–the popular Cameron Mitchell run food hall in Italian Village–has announced their “bittersweet goodbye” from the Italian Village food hall. Borgata Pizza Cafe, known for their New York-style pies and creative cannoli, is closing its Budd Dairy Food Hall location on April 6th, 2025.
As one of the original chef partners of Budd Dairy, which opened its doors in 2021, the closure is unexpected to fans. While specific reasons haven’t been announced, Borgata posted the announcement on their Budd Dairy-specific Instagram @borgatabudd:
“We are incredibly grateful for this experience and for the opportunity to serve all of you.
They say home is where the heart is. So we’ve decided to go back to our roots and focus on our brick-and-mortar location @borgata_pizza_cafe in Worthington.
Stay tuned for updates and things to come! We love you, Columbus!”

So while the Budd Dairy location is soon shuttering up, lovers of Borgata don’t need to fret. They can still grab pizza at the Borgata Worthington location at 2285 W. Granville Rd.
Borgata Budd Dairy is currently one of 10 chef partners operating out of the food hall, leaving an open spot. Who will take over their location next? We’re excited to find out! And Borgata Budd Dairy, you will definitely be missed. Salute!
