Sav McKee

Matcha cream-filled donuts, sweet red bean, Nutella flavored treats, and much more from your favorite mochi shop are now available in-person for the first time ever.

The Mochi Shop, Columbus’ original mochi donut, just opened their first brick-and-mortar store after selling their delicious donuts online and at surrounding markets. They teamed up with Coffee Coin to open at 999 Bethel Rd. Suite D, offering mochi donuts and Daifuki Mochi donuts as well as iced mochas and hot coffee!

BROUGHT TO YOU BY

If you’re unfamiliar with mochi, it’s a Japanese dessert made from pounded sticky rice that’s soft and chewy, and almost sticky (in the best way possible), then topped with a sweet glaze. Daifuki is also made from pounded sticky rice, but most often filled with a cream or filling. Mochi Shop offers matcha truffle, hokicha truffle, matcha sweet redbean, and strawberry truffle!

Stop by Wednesdays through Sunday, 9am-2pm to try for yourself!
