Owner of bygone Da Levee restaurant opens new concept
If you’ve been missing that red beans & sausage and jambalaya ever since Da Levee closed their Short North restaurant, you’re in luck.
The owner of the bygone Da Levee, Justin Boehme, is bringing his new concept to Ace of Cups. Jam Jam, a cajun food truck, will be parked outside there Thursday through Sunday, 4 – 10 PM, and as they onboard more staff, the hours will expand to Wednesday through Sunday, Noon – 10 PM.

Jam Jam serves Creole food, such as gumbo, chicken creole, crawfish étouffée, and even grilled burritos, po’ boys, and much more. Try their ode to Da Levee, aptly named Da Levee, which consists of chicken & sausage jambalaya, with red beans and smoked sausage, spicy corn, all smothered with crawfish étouffée and stuffed in a 12” tortilla.
Ace of Cups/Jam Jam is located at 2619 N. High St. We’ll definitely see you there.
