The owner of Shaker’s Public House may be known for churning out some of the best wings in Columbus, but Spencer Campbell could soon be known for his smash burgers, too.

Campbell, along with his friends Devin “Hylyte” Keeton, who’s a famous DJ, plus the recording artist Doobie, who all met on tour together with the famous singer Jelly Roll, debuted their new food truck, Holy Cow Smash Burger & Fries, last weekend at Holy Sinner on Columbus’ East Side, and the line was wrapped around the entire building.

People were there to try Holy Cow’s blend of wagyu and traditional ground beef, smashed on a flattop stove to ensure a crispy exterior. The burger is served in a toasted bun with their signature homemade burger sauce. Fresh cut fries are available, too.

The meat is never frozen, said Campbell. “There’s not a freezer in this truck,” he said.

Campbell built the truck right in his driveway.
