Permits show recently closed restaurant could be demolished for national fast food chain 

First it was a fried seafood restaurant, then a New Orleans cajun restaurant, and now, it looks like this South Side building will be a Chinese restaurant.

According to city permits, a demolition could be happening at 3857 S. High St., which was formerly a Long John Silvers, then Way Down Yonder (which relocated to 386 E. Main St.)

It now looks like a new 2,350-square-foot Panda Express could be built on that exact site after demolition is approved. It’s currently listed as “pending,” but conditional approval has been granted.

This marks the 12th location in Central Ohio for the fast-casual Chinese restaurant, known for drive-thru lo mein and orange chicken made in a jiffy.
