Soon, you can grab a lox & cream cheese on an everything bagel, or a hot pastrami on rye from this popular spot for bagels, without taking a drive to a Columbus suburb.

Barry’s Bagels, which already has locations in Westerville, New Albany, and Dublin, is opening another location near campus at 1881 N. Pearl St., just off of High Street. “Construction plans are underway, and we hope to announce a target opening date in the coming weeks,” said Barry’s announcement on Facebook.

The new location will be open seven days a week, with extended late-night hours three days a week.

Barry’s is known for boiled-and-baked bagels and their made-to-order sandwiches, including their famous “Eggel,” which is their take on a breakfast sandwich with a fluffy egg. Currently, there are 80 locations across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Texas, with plans to continue expansion.
