Popular “build-your-own” chain opens first pop-up ever in Downtown Columbus

A new, healthy option is making its way Downtown – well, for a little bit, at least.
The popular Asian-style “build-your-own” brand, BIBIBOP Asian Grill, which started here in Columbus, has an entirely new concept: a Downtown pop-up.
The fast-casual chain known for fresh and healthy ingredients, including USDA Choice steak, all-natural chicken, fresh veggies, rice, and potatoes, is now open in the lobby of the Borden/Hexion Building, located at 180 E. Broad Street, but for now, only on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

In a press release, Regional Catering Manager Alexis Gammon hinted that they’re testing out the market before making a more permanent decision, hoping to bring healthier options to the Downtown crowd. “We are watching closely to see the demand grow and we’re open to expanded days open in the future,” Gammon said.
This is the first pop-up ever since BIBIBOP opened 12 years ago, with 74 other locations throughout Ohio and other states.
Stay tuned if BIBIBOP decides to open a permanent restaurant in our growing Downtown area.
