Fresh, healthy new options will be available in Grandview next month.

Roots Natural Kitchen first opened about three years ago on campus, with college students flocking to grab a Corner Cobb salad or El Jefe bowl.

Now, they’re opening another location at 808 Grandview Ave on May 3rd. The building was formerly Steak Escape. This location in particular will even feature a drive-thru, unlike their local competitors, Sweetgreen and Market65. No need to find parking to grab a salad or bowl. Roots Natural Kitchen is all about empowerment and accessibility, and their press release states that a drive-thru option was a step towards their mission.

In addition to the restaurant’s drive-thru, the Grandview location features a dining room and delivery, catering, and pick-up options.

Customers can enjoy 40% off on May 3rd to celebrate the grand opening, with free t-shirts all day, while supplies last.

The Roots chain has 14 restaurants around the U.S., with the Campus and Grandview locations being the only ones in Ohio. They’re all about “getting back to the basics with what we eat,” offering a plethora of healthy bowls and a build-your-own option, with ingredients like brown rice, roasted sweet potatoes, charred corn, avocado, pita chips, feta, lime-pickled onions, chicken, barbacoa, BBQ you, red chili miso tofu, chimichurri mushrooms, and much more.
