Popular Chinese restaurant announces closure after 31 years

“It has been an incredible journey, and we are deeply grateful for the love and support you’ve shown us over the years,” said a local spot that serves some of the best General Tso’s and Lo Mein around town.

Golden China, located at 1926 Brice Rd., closed permanently on March 1, after 31 years. The Chinese Restaurant first opened in the Reynoldsburg area in 1994 with the mission of serving Chinese-American cuisine at an affordable price.

“We’ve had the honor of being a part of so many memories. We watched our customers’ kids grow up alongside our own. Now that both of our kids are in college, we find ourselves in a position to step back and focus on the next chapter of our lives,” Golden China announced on their website.
