Popular Columbus coffee concept reopens after temporary closure
A Columbus coffee concept is open for business after remaining closed for over a month.
According to a social media post, The Galaxy Coffee reopened for service on July 3, after being closed for over a month.
The truck originally closed in late May while an accounting issue was handled, and in June it was discovered that the truck had a damaged floor that needed to be repaired.

“Thanks to our incredible community, our floors are back to safe and structurally sound. We still have some unfinished projects, but we just can’t wait any longer to see all of you,” a social media post announcing the truck’s reopening reads.
Self-described as Ohio’s first queer-owned coffee truck, the Galaxy Coffee is billed as an inclusive and community-focused concept. It’s typically parked at 3264 N. High St.
