Popular Columbus taco truck opening first brick and mortar restaurant next week

The Columbus food truck AJ’s Tacos is parking it on the West Side with a new permanent eatery.

Yesterday, the food truck announced that it plans to open its first-ever brick and mortar restaurant on Nov. 22. The eatery is located at 3307 Sullivant Ave. in the Hilltop.

“After five years of serving from our food truck and ghost kitchen, opening our very first brick-and-mortar means everything to us,” owners Agustin & Rachael AguirreIt told 614Now.com. “It’s the chance to share an expanded menu, welcome guests to sit and stay awhile, and finally bring to life the dream we’ve carried since the very beginning.”

The Hilltop taqueria will offer a spacious dining room where customers can enjoy AJ’s unique brand of Mexican cuisine, with options like Birria Ramen, Birria Grilled Cheese and more.

You can typically find the AJ’s tacos food truck at 3059 W. Broad St.
