Popular Creole & soul food restaurant opens anticipated new location

Mardi Gras is every day in Columbus now (okay, well, besides Mondays).

Creole Kitchen’s new (and much anticipated) restaurant is officially open after their big move from their Mt. Vernon Space to now, a fresh location at 795 E. Long St.

The restaurant decided to stay in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood, relocating to the first floor of a new multi-use building there. They’ve been in the neighborhood for nearly 20 years, serving up some of Columbus’ finest Creole and soul food.

Creole Kitchen’s new location was originally planning to open in March of 2024, but we’re happy that as of this week, they’re officially open!

At their new location, expect familiar favorites like Po Boys and Shrimp Etoufee, but also brunch delicacies, like the Egg Basin Street on rice Patties, with red beans, Andouille sausage, poached eggs, and Bearnaise sauce.

Their hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 8am-9pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 8am-10pm, and Sundays, 8am-4pm.
