Wolf’s Ridge Brewing is heading north for a new location.

This morning, the Columbus craft beer stalwart announced its plans to take over the now-vacant restaurant space in the historic Worthington Inn. The Inn, which is under new ownership, posted in late October that it plans to reopen its restaurant, which has been shuttered since 2018.

The Worthington Inn is located at 649 High St.

“We’re thrilled to join the Worthington community and play a role in bringing new life to such a meaningful local landmark. The Worthington Inn has always been a place for connection, and we want to honor that legacy while introducing a fresh, welcoming energy that reflects the heart of this community,” Said Wolf’s Ridge co-owner Bob Szuter in a press release. “It will become a place where you can enjoy a memorable meal or pause to catch up with a friend across the room, all while experiencing the passion and purpose behind everything we create.”

The Wolf’s Ridge team will collaborate with Flat Black Visuals (the group behind the design of their sister brewery and restaurant, Understory) to “blend classic character with a warm, tavern-inspired setting — evoking the familiarity of New England inns and old English pubs, while offering a distinctly local feel.”

The new eatery is scheduled to open in the spring of 2026.
