A Newark-born fried chicken concept is headed to Buckeye Lake.

According to a social media post made last week, OX-B’s is planning a new eatery that will be located at 10960 Hebron Rd. in Buckeye Lake.

“We are so excited to announce we are coming to Buckeye Lake,” OX-B’s post reads. “We had the opportunity to take over what was once Buckeye Babes and cannot wait to be in the area with a permanent location.”

The concept, which is known for its wings, chicken tenders, mac and cheese and even loaded fries with chicken tenders, did not announce when it plans to open the new storefront.

OX-B’s currently operates five eateries, which are located in Downtown Columbus, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Newark and Lancaster. Its first eatery originally opened in a former shipping container in Newark.
