Popular fried chicken chain files to open in this Central Ohio city for first time

Residents in Delaware, OH won’t have to drive to the surrounding areas for a fried chicken biscuit anymore.

Chick-fil-A is planning on opening in a new development near Sunbury Road and Sky View Lane, according to documents released by Delaware City Planning Commission, who approved of the rezoning and development on December 3.

If Delaware City Council approves, the Chick-fil-A will be part of a 10.3-acre site with multiple other businesses. A public hearing is scheduled for January 12.

Although there’s already a Chick-fil-A in Lewis Center and Polaris, this marks the first-ever location for the national in Delaware for the fried chicken chain.
