A fried chicken concept that started in a shipping container is now hitting the road.

OX-B’s, the eatery known for its wings and fried chicken, is planning to launch its first-ever food truck.

According to OX-B’s head of marketing Tyler Wakeling, the new truck will be ready to open once it officially passes inspections. They are hoping to launch it this week, although an exact date hasn’t been announced.

“The new food truck will allow us to enter some markets we may not have been able to before. Going to nearby cities or even events where people may not have heard of us or tried us yet,” he said. “Corporate Catering Events, Weddings, Festivals, and so much more. It will be great exposure for OX-B’s.”

Wakeling said the menu will not feature every item its brick and mortar eateries do, but it will have a “good selection of our fan favorites including Wings, Wraps, Sandwiches and more.”

OX-B’s currently operates locations in the Short North, Reynoldsburg, Westerville, Buckeye Lake, Lancaster and Newark.
