Popular ramen restaurant transforms into new restaurant with new name & menu
One of Columbus’ most beloved ramen spots is still the same in some ways, but definitely different in others.
Don’t expect to drive down Lane and see Fukuryu Ramen anymore, for its now Izakaya Ryu.

The complete rebrand of Fukuryu, located at 1600 W. Lane Ave., now offers steamed buns and binchotan skewers, plus sake and Japanese liquors. The ramen you know and love is still there though! The dining room has completely transformed as well, offering table service instead of ordering at the counter.
Try out this new concept yourself! Izakaya Ryu is closed on Mondays, but open Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12-8PM, and Thursday-Saturday 12-8:30PM.
