Popular Short North-based Italian eatery announce reopening after hiatus

Marcella’s Short North will be back before the end of July.

According to a social media post from the eatery, it will officially reopen for business on July 23.

The Italian eatery, which is located at 615 N. High St., closed temporarily on May 23 for renovations, in order to create a “space that feels bright, fresh, and now.”

The Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) concept offers classic Italian cuisine–including dishes like Cacio E Pepe, Chicken Parmesan and Veal Picante–in addition to nearly 10 varieties of pizzas, an extensive wine list and desserts such as Tiramisu, Ricotta Cheesecake and Affogato.

The eatery’s Short North restaurant originally opened in 2007. Marcella’s also operates a restaurant in the Polaris area, located at 1319 Polaris Pwky.
