Popular Short North restaurant announces closure after six years

“We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience, and grateful for your support, kindness, and memories,” said a popular Short North restaurant known for fresh sushi and Asian whiskeys.

The 1126 Restaurant, located at 1126 N. High St., announced via Instagram that their last day of service will be May 18. The restaurant opened six years ago, becoming a go-to spot for sushi, hibachi, udon, and cocktails, all in a cool setting.

The restaurant did not provide an explanation as to why they’re closing.
