Taco Bell testing new flavor exclusively in Columbus

Columbus has long been a test market for fast food chains to try out new items, and it’s our turn again for a special Taco Bell exclusive. The taco chain has just dropped a collaboration with Tajín, the popular Mexican seasoning blend, for a crunchy Tajín Taco — only available only in Columbus.

Per allrecipes.com, the special taco shell is coated with Tajín Clásico seasoning, rich with chili peppers, lime, and sea salt flavors. Priced at $2.49, the taco shell is stuffed with beef, ranch sauce, lettuce, shredded cheese, and topped with mango pico de gallo (of course, all Taco Bell taco meat can be swapped for beans as well). The taco also comes with a side of Tajín for even more flavor.

If you’re feeling extra hungry, Taco Bell is also offering a Tajín Discovery Luxe Box in the Columbus market. At $9, the box includes the Tajín taco with a steak grilled cheese burrito, crunchy taco, cinnamon twists, and a medium drink, according to allrecipes.com.

Per the popular food account @snackolator on Instagram, the Tajín taco is only available at select Columbus locations, so check your local Taco Bell before hitting up that drive thru. Snackolator also shared “I got to try this at the 2024 Live Mas event and this was my favorite new item so I have been dreaming of that nationwide release.”
