Popular toasted sub chain since 1977 opening sixth Central Ohio location

Name something better than grabbing a sub sandwich and chips and heading to the pool.
And starting this weekend, there’s another chance to do that.
Potbelly Sandwich Works is opening a brand new location in Westerville, located at the lively intersection of State Street and Polaris Parkway at 782 N. State St., minutes away from Otterbein and Uptown.

“Our Potbelly shops have become neighborhood staples throughout Columbus, and we’re thrilled to share our toasty sandwiches, signature salads, hand-dipped shakes, freshly baked cookies, and other craveable menu favorites with the Westerville community,” said Robert Negron, Chief Operations Officer for Royal Restaurant Group. “Whether it’s families grabbing lunch or the local workforce stopping in for a midday break, we’re confident this shop will quickly become a cherished mealtime destination.”
Potbelly first opened in Chicago in 1977 in an old antique store, utilizing the antique oven already there to create concoctions of warm, toasty sandwiches. Since then, this iconic neighborhood sandwich concept, Potbelly, has expanded to over 400 more shops in the United States.
Their menu features loaded toasted subs, large salads, soups, chips, cookies, and even mac & cheese and milkshakes.
