Publication calls this Columbus donut shop ‘The Best-Kept Secret in Ohio’

Since 1969, a local donut shop has been slinging homemade fried dough delights and gyros, and a national publication says it might just be Ohio’s best-kept secret.

For a lot of us that live here though, we know that Buckeye Donuts isn’t quite a “secret” – year after year, it’s voted as having some of the best donuts in Central Ohio, and the 24/7 restaurant located at the corner of 18th and High Street has a constant flow of hungry college students, visitors, and locals in and out of its doors, all day and night.

Family Destinations said that Buckeye Donuts is “a little slice of heaven masquerading as a humble donut shop,” with a menu that’s in a league of its own. They recommend trying the signature Buckeye Donut – a chocolate-covered confection filled with peanut butter cream – if you haven’t had one already!

And for those who don’t have much of a sweet tooth, try a gyro, some tater tots, and a Greek salad.
