Resch’s announces opening date of anticipated new location

We almost didn’t survive with a two-day gap in Resch’s donuts, but we’ve thankfully arrived at the finish line. The new Resch’s location has officially opened for business.

In a surprise social media post this morning, the more than 100 year-old local donut shop and bakery announced that its anticipated new storefront in Gahanna is holding its grand opening today and tomorrow.

It will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. today, and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. tomorrow. The new Resch’s is located at 150 N. Hamilton Rd. in Gahanna. It will return to normal business hours beginning Monday.

The long-standing Columbus bakery was originally planning to operate two locations when it announced its new Gahanna storefront last year, but later decided to close its previous storefront, which was located at 4061 E. Livingston Ave., on Sept. 30.
