Selena Gomez-owned ice cream concept comes to Columbus

Jack McLaughlin

Something sweet and celebrity-owned has landed in Columbus.

Serendipity Ice Cream, which is co-owned by singer Selena Gomez, has opened mobile carts in both Ohio Stadium and the Schottenstein Center, a representative for the brand told 614Now.

The New York-based ice cream vendor offers a variety of indulgent flavors in the form of both ice cream bars and pints. Featuring a generous helping of mix-ins, Serendipity offers options like Big Apple Pie Churro, Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, Selena Gomez’s Cookies & Cream Remix and more. All flavors are created using GMO-free ingredients.

Serendipity is inspired by the flavors of the legendary New York ice cream parlor Serendipity 3.

The new-to-Columbus brand also supports a good cause. According to its website, one dollar of every sale by Serendipity Ice Cream is donated to “mental health education.”
