Struggling local BBQ restaurant reopens with new menu and full-scale restructure
“This isn’t easy to write,” said Michael D. Martiny, owner of Martiny’s BBQ on Facebook. “For years, I’ve given everything I have to this restaurant…But the truth is, things behind the scenes have become too heavy.”
Martiny went on to write that his restaurant, Martiny’s BBQ, isn’t “closing down just yet, but I will be transitioning out and what happens to this place after that, I can’t say.”

He can’t, but we can! A week later, Martiny’s BBQ posted on Facebook that they’d be taking a short break to reset, refresh, and revamp their space and menu, to “relaunch a better version of who we are and what we serve.”
The new version of Martiny’s is now open, with a revamped menu, elevated dining experience, and new level of service and quality, according to their announcement. It’s still located in Lewis Center at 5808 Columbus Pike.
Their new hours will be Thursday-Saturday, 11AM-9PM, and Sundays, 11AM-7:30PM.
“Thank you for being part of the Martiny’s family. We can’t wait to welcome you back and show you what we’ve been cooking up,” they said.
