This March Madness-style bracket aims to pick the best bakery in Columbus

March Madness has arrived, and just because you aren’t a basketball fan, doesn’t mean having fun with brackets is out of the question for you.

For the fourth year, Munchybeak Madness has arrived. The contest implements a March Madness bracket and user voting to determine each year’s champion bakery.

While the bracket starts at 32 bakeries (instead the 64 the NCAA basketball tournament features), that’s still a whole lot of local bread. Voting this year begins today, and you can also vote for each round in Munchybeak’s Instagram stories.

This year field will include the following local bakeries in the first round:

The later rounds of Munchybeak Madness will be held on the following schedule:

Treat 16 round: Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. until Sunday, March 23 at 4 p.m.
Eatin’ 8 round: Tuesday, March 25 at 9 p.m. until Wednesday, March 26 at 9 p.m. Foodie 4 round: Saturday, March 29 at 4 p.m. until Sunday, March 30 at 4 p.m.
National Chompionship Game: Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m. until Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m.
