Traveling Halloween pop-up bar with ‘cult following’ is coming to Columbus

Who needs the creature when the entire Black Lagoon is on its way?

Black Lagoon, a nationally-travelling cocktail pop-up boasting a Halloween theme and a “cult following” will land in Columbus for the entire month of October.

It will be held at Citizens Trust, which is located at 11 W. Gay St., from Oct. 1-Nov. 1.

Self-described as a “creepy-as-hell cocktail experience that pays homage to the macabre and throws in a splash of goth and metal for good measure,” will feature plenty of spooky yet still delicious cocktails, and an immersive Halloween-themed atmosphere.

And yes, you can come in costume.

The event was created in 2021 in Toronto by Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage. This year, it will be held at over 40 venues across the US, Canada and Mexico.

No tickets are required for Black Lagoon, and the event is free to attend.
