‘We want to set the record straight:’ Columbus eatery denies closing rumors
With rumors of a closure making the rounds, Nichola Restaurant wants to let the Arch City know it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
“We’ve been hearing a surprising rumor going around — and we want to set the record straight,” the eatery wrote in a social media post earlier this week.
Nichola, which is located at 4740 Reed Rd., added that it’s “not sure” where the closing rumor originated. It added that it doesn’t plan to relocate or find a new owner, either.

The restaurant also included a statement about the closing rumors on its website.
The eatery, which is family-owned and has operated for nearly 15 years, focuses on pasta and classic Italian entrees.
“So spread the word: Nicola is open, alive, and thriving — and we can’t wait to welcome you in for your next meal or night out,” Nichola wrote.
