Westerville brewery to add full kitchen, new pinball room
Hey Siri, play “Pinball Wizard” by The Who on repeat. Smash burgers and pinball are about to be your new Friday night ritual at Grizzlybird Brewing Company in Westerville, located at 5901 Chandler Ct. The nano brewery is currently working with Delaware County on the plans, permits, and approvals for constructing a new, full kitchen and adding an expanded menu to the mix.
Grizzlybird told 614Now they want to provide “Food and a good experience at a place you won’t be upset about, thinking you could have made it better at home.”
The brewery has started to roll out smash burger offerings on Fridays only, and plans to expand on that concept. Their popular smash burgers are a unique ground chuck and brisket mix, with the addition of cheese, onion, and pickle. Everything is made from scratch, including all sauces, and a new fried, layered potato appetizer with garlic aioli that will soon be available.

Grizzlybird will offer wings and salads as well, and may eventually have a vegan meal option. The plans also involve bringing in an in-house smoker to provide barbecue and brisket dishes. Beyond the kitchen and menu developments, the brewery has officially opened their new pinball room.
“There is new lighting, we put hardwood floors down, and are hoping to have 19 machines total,” Grizzlybird told 614Now.
The brewery aims to open their new kitchen by August 25th this summer. The pinball room is now open during brewery operating hours Wednesday – Sunday. Follow @grizzlybirdbrew on Instagram for pinball tournament info, trivia and other events, and new menu items.
