Worthington eatery closes, replaced by unique new pizzeria
While one Worthington pizzeria has closed, another has replaced it
Big Tony’s Pizza & Pasta, which was located at 1097 Worthington Woods Blvd., is now closed. The eatery has been replaced by Chop Haus Pizza, a new concept featuring West African, Caribbean, and other internationally-inspired pies.
The eatery officially opened its doors on Nov. 1.

“This is my second restaurant and the idea behind it is to bring a more international flavor,” Chop Haus’ ownership told 614Now in a statement. “Pizza is much more forgiving to unusual concepts. So we plan on mixing all types of flavors. Currently we have an oxtail pizza which we’ve been working on for some time now, getting those flavors right.”
Chop Haus also eventually plans to offer multiple West African-inspired pies inspired by jolof rice and suya, a hot honey fried chicken pie and much more.
The Worthington pizzeria will also serve more traditional pizza options, sub, salads, sides and more.
Chop Haus Pizza is open 12-10 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. It’s closed Monday.
