‘YOU WILL DIE SOON:’ TownHall ownership alleges death threats, brick thrown through window
Following public backlash that came after the arrest of a TownHall Short North employee, owner Bobby George has allegedly had a brick thrown through his window and received death threats.
Last week, TownHall employee and former OSU football player Michael McCullough was arrested on a strangulation charge, a second-degree felony. This came after owner Bobby George was charged with attempted murder and rape last August, prompting community protests over the weekend.
Yesterday, a statement from Ethos Hospitality Group (which owns TownHall) claim one of the protest organizers harassed Bobby George by phone and threatened his life.

“On Wednesday night, someone matching this individual’s description came to Mr’ George’s residence and threw a brick through his window with a note on it, ‘YOU WILL DIE SOON,’” the statement read.
The group also claims the person posted person information about George and TownHall employees, and encouraged others to harass them.
The Ethos statement did not name the individual, but claims they were charged by Columbus Police with telephone harassment and menacing.
