A Hocking Hills site has been tapped as one of the country’s “Most Treasured Views” by USA Today.

According to the publication, the Rock House, which is located at 16350 OH-374 in Laurelville, made the list.

The only true cave in Hocking Hills State Park, the Rock House feature a “tunnel-like corridor” located halfway up a 150-foot sandstone formation. The 200 foot long “tunnel” is 25 feet high and 20-30 feet wide.

It represents one of the seven major hiking trails in the Hocking Hills State Park, with the Rock House Trail spanning a loop of approximately one mile.
USA Today compiled an additional collection of “treasured views” (ones that didn’t make the publication’s official list) that you can view here. It pulls across the country, and features more Ohio sites, including a view of the Scioto Mile, shots from Ohio’s Amish country and more.
