Another (yes, another) driver stops in middle of Columbus highway after missing exit, causing car accident


For the sake of everyone’s safety and sanity, we’re really hoping this trend doesn’t continue.
Last week, Columbus made national headlines after a car stopped in the middle of 71S when they missed their exit, causing a multi-vehicle accident.
Well, it happened yet again.

Yesterday, ODOT released footage showing another car halting to a complete stop on a busy intersection after they, too, missed their exit.
On Monday, May 5th, the car missed their exit around 8:15 a.m. on 71N, right by the Weber Road exit. The car completely stops at multiple points, while several cars collide behind it. The video then shows the car moving over two lanes of traffic to get to the initially missed exit.
