Car crashes into autobody shop at busy Columbus intersection for second time in 3 months

An autobody shop at the corner of Olentangy River Rd. and King Ave. was struck by a car again for the second time this year.

“We get a lot of action at this intersection in general,” said a worker at Fine Line Auto Body, which had its wall damaged and flower beds ran over during an accident on August 9, and another time on May 4.

Saturday’s crash took place at 3:15 a.m., and two people were injured and went to the hospital.

The cause of the crash remains unclear.

Fine Line remains open, and they’re working to assess the damage on the building to get it fixed right away.
