Car crashes into Central Ohio daycare, driver flees the scene

Around 7 p.m. on March 2, a vehicle crashed into an East Side day care.

The entrance to Holiday Care Center in Whitehall, located at 1343 S. Hamilton Rd., is completely destroyed after a car slammed into it. Fortunately, no one was inside of the daycare.

Lt. Nick Davis told 614Now that their report states the driver fled the scene, but that no one else was involved and no injuries were reported.

Police are still investigating what caused the crash, why the driver fled the scene, and if the car was stolen.
