Central Ohio business closes after 25 years, states landlord putting pickleball facility there

“We’re very sorry to have to go!” a Central Ohio business said on Facebook. “Unfortunately, our landlord intends to open a new pickleball business at our location and informed us early last month that our lease would not be renewed. We did not have enough time to find a suitable location nearby.”

The Mill Run retail store called United Art and Education, which supplied art products for both educators and artists, announced they’d be closing on October 4th after they couldn’t reach an agreement with their landlord, according to their Facebook posts and comments.

United Art and Education was located at 3622 Fishinger Blvd. According to permits, a pickleball facility equipped with its own restaurant is set to open there.

“We have appreciated your business for the past 25 years! We can still be your source for art and educational supplies at UnitedNow.com,” said United Art and Education.
