City Council approves new Kroger construction with gas station in this Columbus suburb

An undeveloped, 17.9-acre lot in Central Ohio is soon to become a Kroger Marketplace equipped with a gas station.

Canal Winchester’s City Council approved Kroger’s proposal last week, and the grocery store will be built at 8200 Diley Rd. in Canal Winchester.

Construction is set to begin this fall. Kroger’s new building is estimated to be 122,919 square feet, with a grocery pick-up and drive-thru pharmacy, as well as seven fuel pumps.
