Clintonville antique & gift shop closes 

Last summer, a new shop for vintage decor, trinkets, and gifts opened in the former Gatto’s Pizza, located at 2928 North High St.

About a year later, the store, Alchemy + Fortune, closed. “Not much to report,” said a+f when asked if they had a statement regarding their sudden closure. “Our founders opened a&f originally as an auxiliary space to support local artists. Until our next space, currently some of those vendors and artists are being supported and sold at The Nest Theatre Comedy & Arts Center in the meanwhile! a&f art, furniture and curated vintage is soon to be housed within an existing larger vintage space that already houses many vendors in the area.”

But no worries—Clintonville is a still a hotspot for vintage brick & mortars. A couple blocks away, you’ll find plenty of other vintage and antique stores, like Eclectiques, Euro Classics Antiques, and The Boomerang Room.
