Columbus City Attorney sues landlords in hopes of shutting down illegal nightclub & apartment
An illegal after hours “club” on Sullivant Ave., an illegal apartment powered by a gas generator…these are just some of the events taking place on Vikas Dadlani and Sadhna Hingorani’s properties.
Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein has filed a lawsuit against Dadlani and Hingorani, who have allegedly broken code violations that have resulted in many crimes on the properties, including sexual assault, gunfire, robberies, fights, and even overdoses.

At 1885 Sullivant Ave. specifically, the building was serving liquor and became an “after hours” nightclub, without zoning approval or even a liquor license, according to the lawsuit filed with The City. At these illegal parties, fighting often occurred, disrupting the entire neighborhood late into the night.
According to Klein’s press release, The City is hoping that Dadlani and Hingorani will be declared “nuisance landlords,” and the illegal nightclub and illegal department will be shut down.
“For too long, these landlords took advantage of their tenants, and this lawsuit is a positive step toward cleaning up that mess, improving public safety, and making life better for residents and families along Sullivant Ave and the west side,” said Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein.
