Prosecutors have accused Bossetti of defrauding investors in an alleged real estate scheme, from September 2019 through June 2023. Prosecutors reported that Bossetti collected over $20 million during this time.

According to court documents:

“Between on or about September 2019 and June 2023, in the Southern District of

Ohio and elsewhere, the defendant, TYLER BOSSETTI, with intent to defraud, devised, intended to devise, and knowingly participated in a scheme to defraud and to deprive another of money and property by materially false and fraudulent pretenses, representations, and promises; that is, BOSSETTI operated a fraudulent real estate investment scheme.”

The documents explain that Bossetti solicited short-term real estate investments, promising an extremely high return on investment of 30% or more, from purchasing, rehabilitating, refinancing, and renting or selling residential properties. The documents also alleged that Bossetti spent the investments in unauthorized ways, including on personal expenses such as luxury homes, vehicles, and cryptocurrency investments.

Bossetti is charged with wire fraud in addition to aiding in the filing of a false or fraudulent document–an alleged fraudulent IRS 1099-INT form that reported interest income of $4,500, even though the taxpayer did not earn any interest.

Per the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, records show that Bossetti has had over a dozen civil cases against him and his businesses over alleged mishandling of finances and investments.

Bossetti’s once public Instagram account is now private. He last posted an entry on his Substack on May 8, 2025, titled “Life Sentence.”

Per court documents, a hearing for Tyler Bossetti is scheduled for June 13.
